COVID 19 Protocols

  • Friday April 23, new Provincial guidelines have been set with travel restrictions in place. We recommend our customers also check any Provincial guidelines when deciding to travel. 
  • Do not visit us if experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19!
  • Reservations in advance are required: please call us to book prior to arriving in Naramata.
  • Limited capacity: We have reduced our operating capacity to ensure that we limit crowds and gathering at our location
  • Staggered Bookings and Arrivals: staggering the arrival of guests to reduce line ups and congestion for our customers and staff
  • Limited Group Size: We have a maximum group size of 6 people for any rental within a single reservation.
  • Lessons: require one sup instructor per each group of 6 max. with safe social distancing in place
  • Waivers: If possible if you can print, sign and bring our waiver found on our website prior to arrival to reduce the duration of check-in and customer interaction.
  • Dressed and Ready to Paddle: Please be dressed and ready to paddle prior to arrival to reduce the duration of check-in and customer interaction. We do not have a public washroom available to use but there are facilities at Wharf Park and Manitou Park.Leave non-essential and larger items at home or in the car
  • Masks & Hand Sanitizer: Masks are mandatory in our shop as is physical distancing of 6 ft. Sanitizer is available in different locations at front and inside of shop.
  • Sanitization of all shared equipment:we are sanitizing all shared equipment between use
  • Overview of COVID-19: safety procedures before lessons
  • On-water lesson: masks are not required
  • Social Distance:Always maintain 2 metres between all individuals before, during and after paddling activity.
  • For paddlers requiring assistance with launching or disembarking, further precaution should be taken to lower risk if this process may bring individuals closer than 2m
